Reasons Behind Drinking Weight Loss Tea

Everyone today wish to remain healthy and fit, but it doesn’t happen so. We all are so used to eating the junk food that most of us tend to put on our weight due to that and in turn adds up the cholesterol.

If the level goes up it can be very dangerous as high cholesterol is not good for health. There are two types of cholesterol namely LDL and HDL. If the level of LDL cholesterol increases then such patients are more prone to heart related diseases. LDL cholesterol leads to the blockage of arteries thereby not letting its function to work smoothly. It gradually develops into plaque and can result into a heart attack. The good cholesterol in our body is termed as HDL. The main function of HDL is to circulate LDL

cholesterol to the liver so from there it can be easily disposed off from the body. Care should be taken that if the level of LDL cholesterol is more than HDL will be of no use.

Here the weight loss tea comes into picture. Tea actually helps in reducing the LDL levels and increasing the flow of HDL. Green tea plays a major role in that as it prevents the LDL cholesterol from oxidizing which in turn doesn’t turn into plaque.

To prove the above point an experiment was conducted by the University of Hong Kong. They actually started feeding rats with high cholesterol diet for a week. These rats were then divided into groups and were fed with different varieties of tea. One group was also fed with water just to check the truth behind having tea.

Different varieties were used including Jasmine, Puerh, Iron Buddha, Green and Oolong tea. Amongst them some were fermented and some unfermented. They wanted to test the effectiveness of both kind of teas. Slightly fermented tea was Jasmine tea, iron Buddha and Oolong are partially fermented, Puerh is 100% fermented tea, whereas Green is tea is totally unfermented. Not only their cholesterol levels but also the weight of the liver was measured.

After some few weeks of study they came to a conclusion that the slighter fermented tea which were Jasmine and Green tea were more effective then the partial fermented tea. They had a remarkable change not only in the cholesterol levels but also on the liver. Partially fermented tea and water also had some effect but was little as compared to the lesser fermented tea. However the levels of triglycerides and HDL cholesterol were more or less the same.

Green tea when consumed in right proportion and with the right diet and exercise can be very effective to keep your cholesterol levels at par. Consuming Green tea can help in increasing the HDL and in turn reducing the LDL cholesterol.

Thus this is the most affordable and best solution which can be practiced by anyone anytime at home and the best part about it is that it has no side effects. In fact it would make you feel fresh.
